11 WEEK COURSE - SLO
The enrollment fee for the course is $1500 USD. All sales are final.
This 11 week make-up course is designed for both the beginner and the professional make-up artist, as Mia Espinosa and her team will teach all the current facets of beauty make-up, and her very personal techniques she has honed through a 15 year career in the industry. Furthermore, this course is mainly a hands-on course. Students learn from practicing on each other and with other models under the supervision of a professional makeup artist. Topic for this course will include:
Foundation Application
How to achieve luminous skin
How to achieve full glam skin
Starting your kit (Mia's real life go to products)
Sanitation
Determining skin types
Contouring
The perfect brow
Highlighting and Contouring eyes
Eye shapes
Eye Lash application
Bridal looks
Special Event looks
Editorial/photography makeup
Business side of Make-up
On-location and client etiquette
CERTIFICATES
We only issue 1 certificate per student.
RULES AND DRESS CODE
-Dress code, all black all the time, no exceptions. Accessories can be silver, gold, clear, wooden or black.
-No tag alongs, students are not allowed to bring visitors into the class, unless they are a model/client with instructor permission.
-No cell phones when applying, in a lecture, or receiving a makeup application. We will have breaks and you can always step away to use your phone.
-No foods or beverages during class time. Water will only be permitted during class time. This will support our sanitary habits.
-Students must bring their makeup supplies/kit, and Notes with them to every class.
-Attendance, if for any reason you have an emergency and cannot make a class, please call one of the instructors and make arrangements. You are allowed to make up classes the following course.

Our supply list will be provided to students when they sign-up to our class. The option of purchasing a complete kit is highly recommended but not required.
